"Good food, good service. We asked the history of the train, the servicer brought us a stack of pictures and papers. They only open for dinner on Thursday to Sunday. A place worth to stop by if you are near the area."

"Nice place to eat. The restaurant is in a remodeled railroad car which is fitting for the area as Heavener is pretty much a railroad town. The food is good. Prices have crept up a bit. I had a chicken and dumplings special that was pretty good. At $12 it seemed a bit high for the amount of food. The salad bar is excellent with lots of variety and very well priced at $4.99. The service was excellent. The young lady who served us was very attentive and we didn't have to wait on anything. All in all I think people will enjoy eating at this restaurant with great service, good food and reasonable prices. I recommend Southern Bell Restaurant."

"If I could give them 10 stars for food, service, and atmosphere, I would. The restaurant was in a restored historic railroad car that was fabulous. The servers were personable, told you the history of the place, gave you all the info about the food, And they were top tier in efficiency and friendliness.. The food was sooooooo good! Our food was just mouthwatering and every dish we saw them bring out to other patrons just looked delicious. We tried the special that was chicken and dumplings, and it was wonderful. The salad bar was quite fresh and really, really tasty with lots of variety. One of our party had the catfish and it was wonderful and came with a whole variety of sides that were very tasty as well. Our entire party licked our plates clean but the portions were very generous. The homemade desserts are made fresh every day... I haven't tasted a homemade piecrust like this (buttery and flaky and fresh) in a long time. I will take every opportunity to return to this place again and again and again."
